Set the conditions before choosing a time
Choose 2–6 distinct cities and an organizer. The selected date belongs to the organizer’s zone. Set a duration from 30 to 240 minutes. Working hours default to 09:00–18:00 in each city; expand the working-hour settings to edit cities independently. First-version shifts start and end on the same local day. For overnight work, compare a suitable same-day segment.
Weekends are treated as outside working hours unless you explicitly include them. Public holidays, vacations and personal calendars are not available to this tool.
How candidates are calculated
Candidate starts are generated every 30 minutes along the organizer’s actual date. A spring transition can make that day 23 hours; an autumn transition can make it 25. Every timeline column is one absolute instant, shown in each city’s local zone. The light-blue cells indicate an entire 30-minute segment within that city’s configured work period.
A candidate counts as a shared working-hour option only when its entire duration fits every city. A meeting starting at 17:30 with a 60-minute duration does not fit a work period ending at 18:00.
Shared windows and honest compromises
| Cities and conditions | Expected interpretation |
|---|---|
| New York + London, October 13, 2026, 09:00–18:00 | Some complete 60-minute working windows overlap |
| New York + London + Tokyo, same settings | No shared complete window; compromises are labelled |
| A weekend, weekends excluded | Weekend participants are outside their work periods |
Shared windows are listed first. If none exist, ranking first minimizes the number of affected cities, then total minutes outside work, then the largest single-city inconvenience, then distance from work-period centers. Equal scores use the earlier absolute start. The result shows early, late, cross-date or weekend issues for each city. You remain responsible for asking participants whether a candidate suits them.
Copy, share or add to your calendar
Select a candidate before copying or downloading. The copied text lists every city’s start and end dates, times, IANA zone and offsets. A shared URL restores the planning conditions; anyone with the link can see them, so keep confidential details out of it.
The .ics file contains one VEVENT with UTC DTSTART and DTEND. Calendar software displays that instant in its own zone. Export does not send invitations or reserve anyone’s time. Consult the DST guide and use the single-date converter to double-check an unfamiliar clock reading.
